The brief:

The Creative Clinic: Re-brand the UAE based pizza restaurant Aria Pizzeria ready for their new location opening in Dubai.

The challenge:

The client wanted a ‘zany’ brand design that incorporated illustration, humour and buckets full of personality in order to stand out from competitors. We also had to make sure that everything was appropriate for their culture as well as appealing to European tourists.

The solution:

The whole design team brainstormed and researched collaboratively before breaking off to design routes. My route was to include illustration and photography, whilst creating a stark contrast by using a bold and clean logo. I wanted the brand to look playful without being childish, and fall under the ‘outlaw’ archetype.
